What is a wetland?
A low area were the land is saturated with water

What is a watershed?
The whole region that contributes to the supply of a river or lake.

What is a tributary?
A stream that flows into a larger stream or other body of water.

What is stormwater?
Runoff from land and impervious areas such as paved streets, parking lots, and building rooftops during rainfall and snow events.

What is an ecosystem?
A system formed by the interaction of a community of organisms with their physical environment.

What is a habitat?
The type of environment in which an organism or group normally lives or occurs.

What is pollution?
The act or process of polluting, especially the contamination of soil, water, or the atmosphere by the discharge of harmful substances.

What is eutrophication?
The process by which a body of water becomes enriched in dissolved nutrients that stimulate the growth of aquatic plant life usually resulting in the depletion of dissolved oxygen.
